Gotek FDD (Floppy Disk Drive) emulator

Version 2021 SFR1M44-U100LQD upgraded with FlashFloppy 3.42.

Setup

USB flash drive must be loaded with one disk image (here is an empty one) and FF.CFG configuration file.

My FF.CFG configuration file:

interface = ibmpc
nav-mode = native
ejected-on-startup = yes
oled-font = 8x16
display-off-secs = 255

Because of the Dell OptiPlex form-factor (bezeless FDD) the Gotek can not stay inside when the case is closed:

• Fortunately I already have few Asus IDE extension cable
• I had to search for the right Berg Connector extension cable
• The typical FFD connector is 2.50 mm (0.098 in) pitch with 0.64 mm (0.025 in) square pins
• I found one of 50 cm long thanks to MODDIY
